Orders ship via USPS, FedEx, or UPS with tracking. You'll receive shipping confirmation and tracking details by email once your order has shipped.

Sample Kits are not eligible for return. The cost (minus shipping) is credited back once toward your first order. If you'd prefer not to keep your kit, please pass it along to someone who might love it.

15-Day Return Policy — Dimmers Only
We accept returns, minus a 20% restocking fee. Return requests must be submitted within 15 days of receiving your order by emailing support@dimwit.world

Products must be returned in original, undamaged packaging—including all items that ship in individual boxes, as this is considered part of the product. Installed products are not eligible for return. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Any modifications made to our products will void their warranty, certifications, and return eligibility.

Lifetime Limited Warranty
All Dimwit dimmers are backed by a warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Valid for the original purchaser only. Does not cover cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear.

To initiate a warranty claim, contact support@dimwit.world with your order number, photos, and a description of the issue. For warranty claims, we may request additional documentation or that the item be returned for inspection. We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.

Designed for longevity with proper care. Clean with a dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid solvents, abrasives, and harsh chemicals. Use gentle pressure when cleaning. During installation, handle with clean hands or gloves to prevent oil transfer.

Installation
No neutral wire required. The Magwit System™ enables a screwless, tool-free plate and knob attachment and removal. Refer to the user manual or consult a certified electrician for installation.

DOWNLOAD SPEC SHEET

To be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable electrical codes and regulations.

1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker. Confirm power is off.
2. Remove the existing switch or dimmer and disconnect all wires.
3. Determine whether you need the detachable spacers. If the wall box sits proud of the wall, remove the risers. If it's recessed, keep them.
4. Connect the hot wire (black) to the Hot terminal.
5. Connect the load wire (white) to the Load terminal.
6. Connect the ground wire (green) to the Ground terminal.
7. Tuck wires carefully into the wall box and secure the dimmer with the provided screws. The Dimwit logo on the back should face up.
8. Attach the faceplate using the Magwit System™ — connect the tab at the top of the dimmer to the inside of the faceplate, then press the bottom until the magnets engage. The plate should feel very secure.
9. Push the knob onto the dimmer stem until it clicks into place.
10. Restore power at the circuit breaker and test.

Troubleshooting: If lights flicker at low levels, try a different dimmable LED bulb or raise the dimmer slightly above the minimum setting. Some LED fixtures are not fully compatible with low-end dimming.
